Nitin has 18+ years of experience as a banker, hedge fund analyst, and CFO with deep operational, fundraising, and M&A exposure in growth and turnaround situations. He has served in a CFO capacity for a dozen technology companies, leading the finance departments at multiple VC and PE-backed businesses with revenues ranging from $5- to $500 million. Nitin has structured and negotiated complex equity and debt financing as well as M&A transactions, leading post-merger integrations.
Since founding Acctuate, Nitin has served as the Interim CFO to ten companies, working on the sale of two businesses, raising $40+ mm in venture capital, and acquiring and integrating two companies. He has worked on the sale of two businesses (one closed), a $37 mm Series B financing, and on the acquisition of two companies as well the post-merger integration.
Before Acctuate, Nitin was the CFO of a $70 mm online travel company where he oversaw the firm’s financial strategy, growth, and operations. Prior to DH Enterprise, he worked for a PE firm to acquire RadioShack’s (a $600 mm retailer) assets of bankruptcy, restructuring the business while overseeing the financial operations. Before RadioShack, Nitin was the CFO of Branding Brand, a VC-backed mCommerce software company that grew from five employees to 200+ with clients such as Costco, Crate & Barrel, Sephora, and Ralph Lauren. Nitin began his career as an investment banker and hedge fund analyst covering technology, media, and telecom.
He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and earned an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University.
